Douglas Herbert JOHNSTONE-BLACK
Said to have left the country due to something he did?
From letters and family rumours it is said that he asked to return if he had
been forgiven?
2004 Having re-visited this family rumour it would seem that Douglas was wanting to be forgiven as his birth had caused the death of his mother and his brothers and sisters blamed him!
We now have a better idea of what actually happened to Douglas and I thank my Mothers' cousin Clare for the following and additional family information.(May 2004)
